James Levelle

James M. Levelle is a filmmaker and explorer, who highlighted the illegal tiger trade in Tibet, revealed child-labour in the cotton fields of India, filmed pirate fishing off the coast of Sierre Leone, and wrote on the history of the gold rush in Alaska.

Early life and education

James Levelle was brought up in London, with his father who worked in advertising and his mother who was a health care professional. He graduated from Edinburgh University, with a degree in English.
