I believe the allegations could be revised to better align with Misplaced Pages's standards and to present a more balanced perspective. Specifically, I propose the following adjustments:
"Lyotard believes that postmodern architects have nothing to do with Postmodernism (as noted by R. Martin), and, as Lyotard puts it in his article, "The answer to the question: what is postmodernism?" architectes throw away the project of Bauhaus, splashing out functionalism along with the water and the child, who there is an aesthetic experiment itself."
'''Shorten Details on Allegations:''' Streamline the content to focus on key points, ensuring it is concise and comparable to similar sections in other biographies. This approach would adhere to Misplaced Pages's guidelines on maintaining a neutral point of view and avoiding undue weight.
Last case most complicated for me, because it seems, that paragraph have two reference (to the reasercher who mensioned this opinion and to a book, where anyone can find this opinion). Or there is a rule, that author should place reference in the end of a paragraph? If it so, please direct my attention towards it! <small><span class="autosigned">— Preceding ] comment added by ] (] • ]) 10:03, 22 June 2013 (UTC)</span></small><!-- Template:Unsigned --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

:Hi, | |||
:Welcome - and congratulations for starting an ambitious topic!
:Yes, the citations need to go at the end of the sentence or groups of sentences that apply. When the article says "Lyotard believes" - that could come from an article written by Lyotard, a book that discusses his beliefs, etc. The only way to tell where it actually came from is to have citations in the appropriate places. Within a paragraph there may be several citations at the end of sentences, if the material comes from different places.
:I hope that helps! | |||
:I'll be around in several hours from now and can check in with you then. Glad that you're here!--] (]) 10:15, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
'''Research and Impact: '''My research has been cited over 52,000 times since my career began in 2002, as listed on Google Scholar on December 27, 2024. Right now, despite a 20-year career with a great deal of research findings, books, and media attention in outlets such as the and and none of this work receives a fraction of the attention. The reason people mention they will not delete this Wiki page is because of my scientific contributions and education of the public about well-being.
Thank you very much I will put a citation at the end of paragraphs!
'''Scientific Rankings: '''According to both the AD Scientific Index and ScholarGPS, my citations, research productivity, and research impact place me in the top 0.05% of all scientists across disciplines this year, and in the top 0.15% of scientists in psychology.
Sorry, I was not ready for such operative response! Unfortunatly I left after sent my message.
'''Remove Specific Dates:''' Omitting the lawsuit dates could prevent the misleading impression that these events are more recent than they are. According to court records and the initial Washington Post article, the allegations occurred approximately a decade ago.
I`m afraid that my problem with last example is a bit more complicated: not just "Lyotard believes" but "Lyotard believes that postmodern architects have nothing to do with Postmodernism ('''as noted by R. Martin),''' and, as '''Lyotard puts it in his article, "The answer to the question: what is postmodernism?''' ". Now I almost sure, that an additional quotation (at the end of this paragraph) will not cause a problem. According to rules more usual for me, it will be a kind of excess. But if it is ok - I will be most eager to put it, it is not a problem!
I will add all quotations during few days (actually I already started to do this!) ] (]) 16:51, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
:I'm not sure that I understand what the problem is. Is it that 2 citations are needed for the sentences?
:I also don't understand "The answer to the question: what is postmodernism?".--] (]) 18:11, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
I understand the importance of neutrality and verifiability in Misplaced Pages articles and am committed to ensuring that all information is accurate and well-sourced. I think it is reasonable to ask that the Misplaced Pages page reflects a fair and balanced account of my professional life, without disproportionate emphasis on a single event.
Name of the article is probably wrong! just realzed, that I used my own translation here, found propper variant!<ref>Lyotard, Answering the Question - What Is Postmodernism? // The Posmodern Condition: A Report on Knowledge, Minneapolis; University of Minnesota Press, 1984, pp. 71-82.</ref>
For me, problem there, that if I add a quotation to the paragraph which already had it in implicit form (or inderect quotation, like in my last example - mention of specific author`s opinion in specific article). If after inderect quotation I put direct quotation (like this: author A believes B in article C <ref>author A. Article C // journal D. year X </ref> (I probably did something wrong, quotation here is: ref author A. Article C // journal D. year X /ref)) my editor in Russia will ask me to chose one of this two references.
Your assistance in making these adjustments would be invaluable. I am eager to provide any necessary information to facilitate this process. Please let me know if there are specific steps I should follow or additional details required to proceed with these revisions.
Shortly, my question was: is it okey in Misplaced Pages to use such construction: ''author A believes B in article C <ref>author A. Article C // journal D. year X </ref> (I probably did something wrong again, quotation here is: ref author A. Article C // journal D. year X /ref, I my self cant see it))''? ] (]) 03:28, 23 June 2013 (UTC)

It all started, though, with Sitush who has been amazing from Day 1. For everyone else, please know that you are appreciated!–CaroleHenson (talk) 17:21, 19 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Carole, how odd this is! Only today I was sifting through my contacts list, as many do at this time of year. I saw your name and it triggered ... in a nice way! Not sure if I have up-to-date details for you but I am sure that mine are the same as when we first corresponded. Should you not get a note from me in the next week or two, please do drop me an email. Best wishes. - Sitush (talk) 01:30, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Sitush, I would be happy to write an email shortly. I leave for Sedona on the 1st, so I'll send it before then. I hope you're doing well. It would be great to catch up.00:48, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
Hello
Hello,is it possible for you to kindly check about Misplaced Pages Requested articles/Arts and entertainment/Visual arts about Abhijeet Bahadure Painter & watercolor artist based in Nagpur India.ThanksArtwork1984 (talk) 20:32, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
- I am not quite sure what you are hoping from me... perhaps that I would be inspired to write an article. I see the passion, focus, and determination to be a great artist.
- Artwork1984 When I take a look at the requirements for an encyclopedia article about an artist, included with other creative professionals, Misplaced Pages:Notability_(people)#Creative_professionals it says:
- Such a person is notable if:
- The person is regarded as an important figure or is widely cited by peers or successors; or
- The person is known for originating a significant new concept, theory, or technique; or
- The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews, or of an independent and notable work (for example, a book, film, or television series, but usually not a single episode of a television series); or
- The person's work (or works) has: (a) become a significant monument, (b) been a substantial part of a significant exhibition, (c) won significant critical attention, or (d) been represented within the permanent collections of several notable galleries or museums.
- My take is it is Too soon for an encyclopedia article. With his enthusiasm, success in social media, and having garnered some interesting awards and showings, the best course is to wait until he is able to meet these requirements.
- All the very best.–CaroleHenson (talk) 01:27, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
Wiki Page Edit Request
Dear Carole, I hope this message finds you well. I want to express my appreciation for the insightful conversations on the Talk page of the Misplaced Pages entry on me. I am reaching out to seek your guidance as my requests for edits on the Talk page have not received any responses.
I believe the allegations could be revised to better align with Misplaced Pages's standards and to present a more balanced perspective. Specifically, I propose the following adjustments:
Shorten Details on Allegations: Streamline the content to focus on key points, ensuring it is concise and comparable to similar sections in other biographies. This approach would adhere to Misplaced Pages's guidelines on maintaining a neutral point of view and avoiding undue weight.
The wiki page could be more balanced by including details about my 20-year career, such as: Awards and Recognitions.
Teaching Impact: In 2010, I received the Distinguished Faculty Member of the Year Award at George Mason University for teaching and mentoring.
Research and Impact: My research has been cited over 52,000 times since my career began in 2002, as listed on Google Scholar on December 27, 2024. Right now, despite a 20-year career with a great deal of research findings, books, and media attention in outlets such as the New York Times and Harvard Business Review and Time, The Guardian, The Atlantic, Forbes, and Hidden Brain, none of this work receives a fraction of the attention. The reason people mention they will not delete this Wiki page is because of my scientific contributions and education of the public about well-being.
Scientific Rankings: According to both the AD Scientific Index and ScholarGPS, my citations, research productivity, and research impact place me in the top 0.05% of all scientists across disciplines this year, and in the top 0.15% of scientists in psychology.
Remove Specific Dates: Omitting the lawsuit dates could prevent the misleading impression that these events are more recent than they are. According to court records and the initial Washington Post article, the allegations occurred approximately a decade ago.
Your assistance in making these adjustments would be invaluable. I am eager to provide any necessary information to facilitate this process. Please let me know if there are specific steps I should follow or additional details required to proceed with these revisions. Thanks for your time and consideration. Warm regards, Todd
