This issue was originally raised at AE (]), and the result will inform the AE decision.

WeijiBaikeBianji got into content dispute with an IP at ]. The edit war stopped at 04:47 (UTC) on the 2nd, but was reignited by John18778 at 21:09 in John18778's first ever edit. WeijiBaikeBianji had not edited the article in the intervening time. John18778 made one subsequent edit the and disappeared again, and WeijiBaikeBianji resumed editing the article about an hour later. There is definitely something suspicious about an account whose first edit is to reignite an edit war between two editors on a relatively low-traffic article, and the timing strongly suggests that something untoward is going on. ] &#124; ] 23:55, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

  • Troglobite64 was created on 2 October 2014 at 11:34, and reverted an edit of mine that removed some text added by User:Cavefish777 at 11:35 with no explanation. The user had not made any edits before this and has not made any since then. This seems a little strange to me, especially with such an uncontroversial topic (and also because a troglobite is a type of cave fish). I'm not very familiar with the sock puppet investigation process so I figured I would just contribute this information; sorry if it is inappropriate. ~ Boomur 23:44, 2 October 2014 (UTC)

Having blocked several socks today, eg Albino242 (talk · contribs) Albino252 (talk · contribs) and Albino222 (talk · contribs) I've also blocked these two. Cancer232's edits aren't identical in that he is just calling whites trash and Alibnovictim425's edits were just plain vandalism to Albinism, but the names are convincing as are the targets. What I'm really hoping for here is a range block as these are being created more frequently. Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 14:17, 13 October 2014 (UTC)

Basically the same alibinism edits, statements such as "white people" are scared to admit that they're albino? It's the first search result for albinism, so it should be an accurate description of the disorder. It's not my fault that you have Albinism, edits such as where he added White people under "Delusion may also refer to:" and the same link to the dab page Trash.. WeijiBaikeBianji got into content dispute with an IP at William Shockley. The edit war stopped at 04:47 (UTC) on the 2nd, but was reignited by John18778 at 21:09 in John18778's first ever edit. WeijiBaikeBianji had not edited the article in the intervening time. John18778 made one subsequent edit the and disappeared again, and WeijiBaikeBianji resumed editing the article about an hour later.
