Shukran Hussein Gure (Template:Lang-so, Template:Lang-ar) (born 6 June 1978) is a Kenyan politician. A citizen of Kenya, she is a Member of the Kenyan Parliament representing the Garissa County. She was elected to the position in March 2013 on a Wiper Democratic Movement ticket.
Early life
Shukran Hussein Gure, born on June 6, 1978 in Garissa.She attended Mogodashe Primary School from the year 1983 to 1993 for her Primary Shool Eduaction.She later joined Umu-Salama Girls Secondary School for her O-level Education from 1994 to 1997,before preceding to the United States where she received an Associate Degree in Nursing from the College of St Catherine, Minnesota.In 2011 Shukran obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the Prestigious Saint Catherine’s University in Minnesota.She is currently serving as a member of Parliament in Kenya representing the people of Garissa County.
