This is a list of feminist literature written by Americans or first published by people when they were living in America, listed by year of first publication.

Feminist literature is fiction or nonfiction which supports the feminist goals of defining, establishing, and defending equal political, economic, and social rights for women. Feminist literature often identifies women's roles in contrast to men's roles as unequal to men's in status, privilege and power and the usually negative consequences to women and or men, families, communities, and society.
