The Sustained Dialogue Campus Network (SDCN) is an organization founded in 2002 is a national network of student run dialogues. SDCN's mission is to train, mentor and connect student leaders who initiate and sustain dialogues to build cohesive, engaged and diverse campus communities across the country. Dialogue groups operate on 15 college campuses around the country.Sustained Dialogue is a method developed by SDCN founder Hal Saunders at Princeton University in 1998. Dialogues consist of groups of 8-12 student participants and two dialogue moderators who meet regularly throughout the year for two hours sessions. SDCN is an initiative of the International Institute for Sustained Dialogue, a partner organization of the Kettering Foundation.

History

Sustained Dialogue is a method of citizen diplomacy which developed out of Hal Saunders' experiences with the Arab-Israeli peace process under five US Presidents. In
