File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Requiem (John 5).jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Requiem (John 5).jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Misplaced Pages:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 00:36, 7 March 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fred the Oyster (talk) 00:36, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:File-Framing Hanley - Lollipop.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:File-Framing Hanley - Lollipop.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Misplaced Pages constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Theleftorium 14:29, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
Categorizing redirects.
Well, I think this covers ithere. They are songs as I categorized, it is a redirect to another name i.e the album, rather than a mksspelling, other capitalization etc. Many other editors are doing it, especially those interested in country music. If you don't think it belongs on Nine Inch Nails fine, but the songs are XXXX songs, they are Nine Inch Nails songs and they are written by Trent Reznor. At least with them indexed (that is all a category is) it will be easier for people to find them. Your call. I'll avoid Nine Inch Nails in future, nobody else is complaining. Cheers. --Richhoncho (talk) 19:16, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
Marilyn Manson discography
Hi. If the reference does in fact state he has sold 11 million albums worldwide you should probably change it back, it currently still says 11 million in the United States. I've decided changing information based on references I cannot read is a bad idea, otherwise I'd do it myself. Freikorp (talk) 06:28, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
Hi. I too have noticed you falsely altering the album sales figures found on various articles regarding Marilyn Manson albums. For example, you modified The Golden Age Of Grotesque article to state that the album has sold 750,000 copies worldwide. At Marilyn Manson discography, that album is accredited with receiving 6 gold certifications, certifications which, when combined, add up to a total of 310,000. Adding the U.S. soundscan figures (526,000) that have been referenced in the article since 2008 would bring The Golden Age Of Grotesque global sales figures to a certifiable minimum of 836,000 - almost 100,000 more than the figure you posted. Not to mention that the album was by far his most successful in Europe (top 5 debuts, in most cases), so there's every possibility that the album sold a considerably larger amount throughout Europe than can be referenced - sales figures and even certification data from most E.U. member states from before 2006 are hard to come by. In summery, please stop messing around with the sales figures. Thanks. 79.97.208.144 (talk) 20:32, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
Block
You have been blocked from editing, for a period of indefinitely (until unblocked), for disruptive posts and "X will die" posts. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal the block by adding the text{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
Yawaraey (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I don't want anyone to die i just found it hard to believe he's actually dead.
Decline reason:
The reason for blocking is just not believable. You didn't say "I can't believe X is dead"; you said "I hope you fucking die". There's a big difference. An indefinite block is not an infinite block though, and I would be easily inclined to unblock at some later date. -- tariqabjotu 00:02, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
I have blocked you to prevent disruption such as this and this.
When you feel able to resume editing in a more settled manner, please ask for unblock as described above.
Unblocking admin note - No need to consult with me. If you feel an unblock is appropriate and any conditions needed are agreed, go ahead however seems right to you. FT2 22:06, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Another note after more checking - I don't have the ability to check whether these are correct edits but overall the user seems to have a reasonable editing background and if nothing else is inappropriate, I'm inclined to assume good faith that the above posts were an aberration all else being equal.
