AfD nomination of Darrell L. Clarke (politician)

I have nominated Darrell L. Clarke (politician), an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at the article's AfD discussion page. Your opinion on the matter is welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Toddst1 (talk) 17:13, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Image speedy deletion

I have denied your requests for speedy deletion of 2 images, reason "Empty page". The pages are not empty, and the images exist. :-) Stwalkerster 21:08, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Make that 3 images. :-) Stwalkerster 21:09, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Turtlerock image

Hello. Actually, I do mind undeleting the image: it does not have a GFDL compatible license and there is no way it will qualify as fair use since a free equivalent can easily be created. Perhaps you can try to find an alternative which is in the public domain or at least has a compatible license. I know that the whole image policy is a bit tortuous and can seem counterintuitive to a lot of new users so don't hesitate to ask questions, to me or any other experienced user. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson (talk) 22:04, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Tiadaghton Elm

Since Tiadaghton Elm is just a redirect to Fair Play Men, I reverted your edits where there was already a link to Fair Play Men. Duplicate links in the same paragraph or even sentence are not needed - see WP:OVERLINK. Ruhrfisch ><>° 20:44, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

removing cn tags is vandalism

please don't do it, as you did at Salesian High School. Any editor may place them on an article with unsourced material. The "damage" you cited was unfounced and your personal opinion not wikipedia policyINchile 19:34, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Also please see WP:PROVEIT.INchile 19:38, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
revert your revert, content removal is also vandalism, if you feel so strongly about an article then you must also be willing to edit line by line, it's not so hard.

and again, READ WIKIPEDIA: PROVE IT this is a rule you AND i must comply with. people who break this rule 3 or more times are frequently warned and blocked for vandalism.INchile 00:14, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Wyncote?

Do you live in Wyncote or nearby? I noticed your edits to Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, Curtis Hall Arboretum, etc. ike9898 (talk) 20:28, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Fishtown Effect

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Fishtown Effect, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Misplaced Pages is not" and Misplaced Pages's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.

DYK for Strengthen the Arm of Liberty

Updated DYK query On 11 November, 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Strengthen the Arm of Liberty, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Commons link in date articles

Hello. I noticed that you are adding commons links to the date articles like July 26. Adding those links to all 366 of the date articles is a lot for a single editor to do. I'd suggest that you ask to have a bot do it or use AWB. We'll want to make sure that every article is updated and doing it manually will take a lot of effort and there is the possibility that you will miss some. -- Mufka 16:29, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

When adding the commons links, please be sure that there is a valid target. See November 24. -- Mufka 16:29, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
That's an interesting coincidence. -- Mufka 18:02, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Nomination for deletion

Please see; Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Fishtown Effect Steve Dufour (talk) 23:26, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Scoutreach

I don't understand what you are doing with Scoutreach; adding links that redirect to the BSA article does not make sense to me. If you want to develop an article on Scoutreach, do it first, then work it into articles. --—— Gadget850 (Ed)  - 20:10, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Commons on date pages

I notice that on some of your more recent additions of the commons template, you are removing the horizontal line above the months template. I see why you are doing it (to prevent the line from running into the commons box) but that horizontal line is part of the established format and we'd like to keep the format consistent. The line acts as a separator between the external links section and it should not be removed. As you add more commons links, please leave the line there. Thanks. -- Mufka 01:20, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Philly meetup

I appreciate your suggestion. This issue is though that we need to have a real business meeting in a quiet location, not cramped together around a little table in a coffee shop. Bucca is a good idea though. I'm going to put that down as our Dinner location. See you then. --Mblumber (talk) 01:41, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

National Council

I also created National Council of the Boy Scouts of America as a redirect, since this is the proper full name and and can be used more naturally. ---— Gadget850 (Ed)  22:10, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Konstanz Minster

This is an English name, just like York Minster etc. The German is "Konstanzer Münster". If moved, it should be to the usual English format of Konstanz Cathedral, using Konstanz as the article does, although it hasn't been one for nearly 200 years. Johnbod (talk) 15:16, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Christian feasts on January 1

The article Christian feasts on January 1 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Redundant list already contained in January 1.

While all contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Mufka 14:47, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

Rowbottom

I would like for you to please assume good faith in regards to edits that are made. I nominated Joseph Rowbottom for A7 unremarkable person, as none of the sources assert notability per WP:BIO. Furthermore an google test of the subject shows almost zero results. I came across Rowbottom in its link to the article Flash mob in which I determined that the rioting as described in the article has nothing to do with flash mobs. Please follow Misplaced Pages guidelines and contest an A7 deletion, than removing it. Also the article is an orphan article if you look at its what links here, and the sources are not recognized by the citation guidelines on Misplaced Pages. Mkdw 02:45, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
