Hi, I just found by chance this comment from you on the talk page of ]:

This brand spaking new profile and serious editing with archiving and all lends itself strongly to the idea that this user account is for the sockpuppetry of user: Cyclopia.
</blockquote> | |||
Please refrain from accusing me of using sock puppets. I have no reason for sock puppeting, I am pushing no agenda on WP and even if I was, I wouldn't use sneaky ways to do so like sock puppeting. This is a serious accusation on WP, and you should do so if and only if you have strong evidence to do so (vague perceived similarity of some editing patterns, as it seems from your quoted sentence, is not). It would be nice if you can apologize. Also, have a read at ] and ]. Thanks. --] (]) 12:57, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
:I'll find the evidence soon enough. ] (]) 15:42, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
:: First, why did you delete that discussion from your talk page? It's not like you delete it forever, by the way -all the history is kept- so it's just wiping stuff under the carpet. Second, let me know about your "evidence". I'll be happy to discover that, instead of an Italian molecular biologist, I am an Anglo-Saxon astronomer. I guess my research advisor and my friends will all be surprised. :) --] (]) 16:04, 10 September 2008 (UTC) |

AfD nomination of Planetary human habitability
An editor has nominated Planetary human habitability, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Misplaced Pages is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Planetary human habitability and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 10:59, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Artistic impressions of Gliese 581 c
Hi, I've got into a bit of a dispute over some of your artistic impressions of extrasolar planets. A whole bunch of them have been added to a gallery on Gliese 581 c but there's no indication whether some of them are actually intended as artistic impressions of that planet (and if they are, there's no indication of what they're based on). Could you perhaps flesh out the description pages of Image:Planet_75%+_Desert_Planet.JPG, Image:Planet Super-Venus Sulpher.JPG, Image:Planet_Carbon_Aluminum_Sphere_Earth-Like_Lt.jpg and Image:Planet Gas Dwarf Animated.gif with some information about what they're intended to depict and where you got the information the depictions are based on from? They're nice, but they might be misleading when used so specifically like this. Bryan Derksen (talk) 05:18, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- I see the issue is whether an artistic impession has a label that suits you. If the label for the picture says Gliese 581 c, then it's acceptable to you. That's phony reasoning. I can upload those pictures again changing their names or upload photos of whatever that I have labeled as Gliese 581c. The current descriptions are quite clear: Gliese 581 could be many things, I should add a binary magma planet depiction and call it "Gliese 581 c binary planet" as that is what it might be (Pluto/Charon is a not a dwarf, it's a dwarf binary). What you are asking for is already in the article; Gliese 581 c has a mass and an irridance and the rest, as some say, could be sunny beaches or scorching magma with a crushing atmosphere. I think you want a scientist to say it's okay to use the image in reference to the planet when it's in reality an unknown, and it's okay to show the possibilities of this particular planet, instead of this particular planet's possibilities. GabrielVelasquez (talk) 23:42, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- But this is original research. We, as Misplaced Pages editors, can't make up our own ideas for what Gliese 581 c might be like; we can only report what others have speculated in external sources. Bryan Derksen (talk) 02:44, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- Nice self contradiction there. GabrielVelasquez (talk) 15:44, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
Article to be deleted
HELP. This article to be deleted in id.wiki. Can you help me to SAY KEEP in its Talk page, in Indonesia Misplaced Pages. I don't know why they don't appreciate Freedom of Religion, Speech, Press, and Assembly. Thanks for your support. Mikhailov Kusserow (talk) 08:53, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry about this, I don't know it. I hope you can help this to keep this article. But it's Ok! Deo Volente.Mikhailov Kusserow (talk) 04:32, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Comments on canvassing
Hi! I just saw your recent comment on Mikhailov Kusserow's talk page, and since you are more vocal about this issue than Mikhailov, I've brought it over here.
Although it may sometimes seem like only a small group of people are involved in a deletion discussion, all deletion discussions are centralized at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion where people interested in protecting particular topics and articles in general have easy access to them. Many conflicts arise on Misplaced Pages every day, and without our canvassing policy users would quickly be overwhelmed by calls for support.
Most importantly, remember that we're on the same side here - there's no need to get upset. --Explodicle (talk) 19:31, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- I've seen users lie in their vote comments to get articles deleted; interest does not mean competance, or topic knowledge, and I have my own experiences, so your quaint quotes on policy are worthless to me. I won't be writing any articles that I can't get more than a dozen people to support, that's the way this facist/nepotistic website works, so don't bother me with your worthless-to-me point-of-view. GabrielVelasquez (talk) 23:31, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- If you want proof, then I'll show you: the next time you need support in a deletion debate, leave me a message reminding me of this post. I'll either help you, or disagree on your talk page where it won't influence anyone else. You've got nothing to lose - you can quote me on that. I'm a member of the article rescue squadron linked above, and I've taken deletion to review when I have disagreed in the past. --Explodicle (talk) 17:51, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

Thnaks for point that out, I've deleted it as attack page. In future you can just tag such cases with {{db-attack}} as deletion review isn't really the right venue. --Tikiwont (talk) 08:10, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Insolation in planetbox
Yesterday, I added insolation in W/m² and insolation_earth to planetbox character template. If you like, you should add those to every extrasolar planet articles. BlueEarth (talk) 19:47, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
Edits to Talk:Gliese 581 c
Hi,I went ahead and undid your reversion to the Gliese 581 c talk page. I had not deleted the results of that discussion; I just put them in an archive, as the previous location was confusing. It had been right in the middle of another thread. Neither the original edit, nor the revert, was intended to be vandalism. If something other than archiving is preferable to you, I'd be more than happy to discuss alternatives.
To clear up one more thing: this is my one and only wikipedia account. No sock-puppetry here. Cheers, J. Langton (talk) 00:04, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi,I'm sorry we didn't get off to a better start. Don't have time to respond fully now, but I think I will move further replies to the appropriate talk page so that other interested parties might see any discussion.
Whether or not my assurance will mean anything to you, I don't know, but for what it's worth, I am editing in good faith, as are you as well, I'm sure. So if we could keep the discussion a little cooler, I'm sure we'll be able to get the article sorted out. Cheers, J. Langton (talk) 00:27, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Re:How about a new article on people, and planets, and tolerance limits?
Sure, I am happy to help. --Cool Piplup (talk) 21:26, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Re: TI-BASIC Programming and Random solar system generation
I don't think BASIC programming would be any good for these complicated tasks. TI-BASIC is the language of graphing calculators and has very weak functions. Thanks, --Cool Piplup (talk) 04:38, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
