* Someone should remove the Armenian Genocide link since it is a POV article, not a historical fact and therefore would not make for a neutral point of view. I think adding the Turkish point of view on the Armenian Genocide is important since the Armenian point of view was already included.

Please, edit maps for this article, because they are just wrong. My complain is about South Ukraine, East Ukraine and South of Russia. Just compare those territories on these maps and on this one: http://www.ottomansouvenir.com/img/Maps/Ottoman_Empire_1481-1683_map.jpg However, I don't think that Khanate of Crimea was such a part of Ottoman Empire - it was an autonomy. Read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/Khanate_of_the_Crimea The sultans treated the khans more as allies than subjects.
