About Me
I am a cartographer - I make maps. If anyone ever needs assistance in creating a map or needs digital files of a map coverage, simply send me an email via Wiki (or leave a note on the discussion page) and I will be more than willing to help.
I am also a "career military" person. I have spent 20 years serving with the military, including 8 years in the United States Marine Corps and over 12 years in the United States Army - Reserve and National Guard. I have deployed a total of 4 times throughout my career to various places around the globe. My current assignment is serving as primary instructor for Command Post training with various unit echelons.

The Mapmaker's Star
For consistently adding more and more administrative-level maps that are high quality for Misplaced Pages 130.126.146.133 21:27, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
I specialize in working on administrative-level mapping for a variety of countries throughout the world. I have uploaded an image below of the database I am working on (and updating on a regular basis). If you wish to contribute to this, let me know!
Current working on:
Hungary - 4th level administration (includes városok, községek, and megyei jogú városok). See map at right.
Russia - 3rd level raions (districts) for all of the various okrugs, krais, oblasts, and republics.
Indonesia - 2nd level regencies (kabupaten) and municipalities (kotamadya), and 3rd level sub-districts (kecamtan) - administrative boundaries, maps to appear soon
Huge project to create maps for the arrondissements (329 total) and cantons (3,879 total) of France.
Also - please note - the digital information is always available to those in need of it - simply contact me to arrange something. And whenever possible - if you have digital copies of a layer/level that I am in need of, I would always appreciate it if I can add it to my database!
