Please do not use styles that are unusual or difficult to understand in articles, as you did to Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!. There is a Manual of Style that should be followed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --TREYWiki 00:18, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

Your recent edit to Doctor of Philosophy (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Misplaced Pages articles. Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. In one of your recent edits, you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Misplaced Pages's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Thank you. THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 13:35, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

RE Overlinking

Please do not add irrelevant links to articles. I focus your attention to the manual of style. Specifically,

What generally should not be linked

In general, do not create links to:

  • Plain English words.
  • Subsidiary topics that result in red links (links that go nowhere) to articles that will never be created, such as the names of book chapters.
  • The same link multiple times, because redundant links clutter up the page and make future maintenance harder. It is not uncommon to repeat a link that had last appeared much earlier in the article, but there's hardly ever a reason to link the same term twice in the same section.
  • Individual words when a phrase has its own article. For example, link to "the flag of Tokelau" instead of "the flag of Tokelau". Such a link is more likely to be interesting and helpful to the user, and almost certainly contains links to the more general terms, in this case, "flag" and "Tokelau".
  • A page that redirects back to itself. These circular redirects are frustrating to readers.
  • Words in a disambiguation entry other than to the disambiguation target itself. The general rule is "one link per entry"; additional links tend to confuse the reader.

Why the hell do you change colors of infoboxes?! Bright colors don't look good. Go look at Sailor Moon characters' articles and see what is used there.

Please bother to answer this question. I said - look at SM articles, they don't use bright colors!

Please stop

Please stop changing the colors of the userboxes of Tokyo Mew Mew's characters. Also stop reverting our changes as it could result in your being blocked from editing Misplaced Pages as a result of your violating the three revert rule. — G.A.S 14:37, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
