It has been proven that statistics can be misused and presented in a way that makes it discriminatory and sometimes directly false when it is portreyed without context or further information.


You have not included any work done by those on the opposite side.
This article has statements such as "''According to the National Crime Victimization Survey in 2002, robberies with white victims and black offenders were more than 12 times more common than the opposite''" without context such as institutional racism making the statistics the way they are.
This whole article wants to only site those that blame the greater society for people murdering and raping each other.
It's a typical liberal propaganda angle to legitimize crime and downplay the demographics (as inconvenient as it is for the editors).


In the first semi protected comment above me, the OP brought up Roland Fryers EXTENSIVE work,which blew the lid off this whole, "white cops targeting black people".And the editors just totally dismissed it!
Of course there's going to be more statistics filed in an area where there's more black people, which again makes the number of rapports go up. One of the main messages of ] is that more policing means more active policing in an area, often black areas, more police brutality and more stereotyping in politics where the solution always is to add more police in black neighborhoods, which again boost hassle and confrontations, and boost statistics.
That right there was a dead give away.

The notion that blacks are more criminal is in the same area as ] and is misleading at best. But when statistics is paraded like this, it is basically pushing these stereotypes and is a racist dogwhistle.

Anybody, including my fellow black Americans, can tell you that there are so many glaring and obvious statements in it that are outright false and have been propagated for liberal bias propaganda purposes. Either the poorly sourced articles, or the paraphrasing of them in an intentionally deceptive way are designed to mislead and misinform the reader. Another context to keep in mind is the fact that it has been shown again and again that police have prejudice and will tend to racially profile black men.     		Arbitration Ruling on Race and Intelligence

    The article Race and crime in the United States, along with other articles relating to the area of conflict (namely, the intersection of race/ethnicity and human abilities and behaviour, broadly construed), is currently subject to active arbitration remedies, described in a 2010 Arbitration Committee case where the articulated principles included:

    • Pillars: Misplaced Pages articles must be neutral, verifiable and must not contain original research. Those founding principles (the Pillars) are not negotiable and cannot be overruled, even when apparent consensus to do so exists.
    • Original research: Misplaced Pages defines "original research" as "facts, allegations, ideas, and stories not already published by reliable sources". In particular, analyses or conclusions not already published in reliable, third-party, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy are not appropriate for inclusion in articles.
    • Correct use of sources: Misplaced Pages articles should be based on reliable, published secondary sources and, to a lesser extent, on tertiary sources. Primary sources are permitted if used carefully. All interpretive claims, analyses, or synthetic claims about primary sources must be referenced to a secondary source, rather than to original analysis of the primary-source material by Misplaced Pages editors.
    • Advocacy: Misplaced Pages strives towards a neutral point of view. Accordingly, it is not the appropriate venue for advocacy or for advancing a specific point of view. While coverage of all significant points of view is a necessary part of balancing an article, striving to give exposure to minority viewpoints that are not significantly expressed in reliable secondary sources is not.
